WORKSHOP: Guerilla Lab, Ensemble Performance

Aliana teaches this “Guerilla” intensive designed to expand your creative mind, and to develop awareness, openness and quick thinking through physical theater. Using Viewpoints, an improvisational technique from the post-modern dance world, you will explore important theatrical concepts of time and space and learn to create powerful work quickly. The spontaneous interactions from a group train our sense of play as well as build ensemble. It develops flexibility, articulation, strength in movement, and makes ensemble-generated work really possible!

You don’t have to be a singer or actor to take this class. Composers, instrumentalists, librettists, directors, teachers, administrators, are all welcome - anyone seeking to inject a little bit of theatricality into their live and art-making! This is a safe and open place to play and learn!
