ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE
An elder woman expounds on her salty life of being trapped in a loveless and abusive marriage as she cooks soup for her husband and contemplates a way out.
A monologue for soprano and electronics composed by Bahar Royaee, written and directed by Deniz Khateri, lighting design by Keithlyn B Parkman, projection design by Nuozhou Wang, production design by Deniz Khateri, Keithlyn B Parkman, and Mark A. DiGiovanni, and performed by Artistic Director Aliana de la Guardia.
Performances are sung in sung in English and approximately 40 min in duration. The theater is ADA Accessible.
Thursday night performance is available to live-stream and is then available on-demand throughout the rest of the festival.
