ABOUT THE CONCERT

Join Guerilla Opera for the very last event of their 15th Anniversary Season, the world premiere concert of a new chamber opera by Emily Koh at the deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum. 

This surrealist drama follows two Chinese-American women who meet in the afterlife and explores heartfelt familial and cultural conflicts with music and an original libretto by composer Emily Koh, and performed by sopranos Bizhou Chang and Felicia Chen as HER1 and HER2, mezzo-soprano Jeanette Lee, baritone Junhan Choi, percussionist Mike Williams, saxophonist Philipp Stäudlin, cellist Stephen Marotto and violinist Subaiou Zhang Carter.
